Co-kneader is a 3-flight or 4-flight designed reciprocating single screw extruder specially designed for materials that sensitive to temperature and shearing. In the screw shaft, the modular-designed screw elements are with special design. The flights on the screw are interrupted and interact with 3 or 4 rows of stationary kneading pins located in the barrel wall. The interaction between the moving flights and the stationary pins provide dispersive and distributive mixing simultaneously. Meanwhile, the pins and the screw elements work together to keep the barrel self-wiping. Through proper screw design, it can keep the stable working pressure, which avoid the material inside the barrel to be degradable.
Main Structure Characteristic
The co-kneader liner and screw elements are modular assembled, which means that the kneading and conveying screw elements are assembled in the main shaft. The barrel can be opened quickly for cleaning and maintenance. According to different formula, the screw can be designed with the most suitable screw configuration to meet the processing demands.
Temprature Controlling System
Co-kneader's each barrel section is equipped with two sets of temperature sensors to obtain multiple temperature. Especially the melt polymer temperature sensor can get real-time and effective temperature of polymer inside each barrel section.
