In Bio-degrabable field, all human is paying more attention on it. Starch can be added with PLA or PBAT for a better performance while reducing down the cost.
To work with starch, the following can be considered:
1) a high torque gearbox low speed design to avoid starch burning
2) Premixing can be adopted. Loss in weight feeders can also work very well
3) Air cooling belt conveyor is recommended for small and medium capacity production
